Monday-Friday 6/19-6/23/2023, 1:00pm-3:30pm, online

Instructor: Joyce Nojima

This virtual workshop will introduce students to the basics of manga (Japanese style comics/graphic novels) drawing. Our primary focus will be on, but not limited to, character development. We will learn to draw faces, bodies, poses, and character expressions. Our goal is to have students create their own unique character and begin the ground work for a solid script. No previous painting and drawing experience are required!

This will be a live synchronous course. Students will need a computer or smart phone with webcam and microphone, internet and web streaming capacity, and the Zoom application installed to their device.
