Full course description
Instructor Kevin Jewell
Monday, 4/5/21-5/3/21, 6:00pm-8:00pm
This workshop will provide students with an introductory understanding of the Irish language (Gaeilge), with basic vocabulary, grammar, and syntax, but with an emphasis on everyday spoken Irish, rather than an intensive study of grammar. The course will also cover subjects such as culture and the historical background of the language.
Workshops are taught online through Zoom and Canvas. Students will need a computer or smart phone with webcam and microphone, internet and web streaming capacity, and the Zoom application installed to their device. A device to capture images (digital camera, smart phone, or tablet, etc.) is helpful, but not required.
