In this seven week workshop, you will learn how to develop your existing YouTube channel so that it attracts and retains a wider audience. You will learn how to research your niche, map out your story, make and use keyword and tag lists, plan artwork and write effective descriptions for your videos. We will go through upload settings, captioning, and best practices re: building a community of fellow YouTube supporters. During each class, the instructor will review student YouTube channels and offer supportive feedback for optimization.
As an experienced YouTuber the instructor can provide a detailed analysis of each channel resulting in actionable insights that students can utilize and benefit from.
Workshops are taught online through Zoom and Canvas. Students will need a computer or smart phone with webcam and microphone, internet and web streaming capacity, and the Zoom application installed to their device.
