Learn basic Precious Metal Clay (PMC) skills. The beginner workshop introduces you to the world of PMC and the basic skills needed to create a silver clay piece to fire into silver metal. You will learn how to: roll out, texture, cut, prepare the clay for firing, fire (utilizing a butane torch) and finish your project of a pair of earrings or 2 charms. The workshop will alternate between 3 Zoom or Canvas meetings online and 1 arranged in person studio meeting.

Students will need a computer or smartphone with a webcam & microphone, internet and web streaming capacity, and the Zoom application installed. A device to capture images (digital camera, smart phone or tablet, etc.) is helpful but not required. Workshop is limited to 6 students.
