Tuesdays, 6/8/21-7/6/21, 12:00pm-1:00pm, plus additional Engagement lab time.

Join us to create and design your Podcast! We will discuss the nuts and bolts of setting up your home studio, tools for recording and uploading, plus trends in the podcastverse. By the end of the workshops, students will be able to schedule and remotely interview a guest for their podcast using their own microphone, audio interface and software. They will also have information about the most successful ways to promote their podcast to potential listeners.

Workshops are taught online through Zoom and Canvas. Students will need a computer or smart phone with webcam and microphone, internet and web streaming capacity, and the Zoom application installed to their device.

Instructor Bio:

My name is Marilyn McNeal and I'm an educator, visual storyteller, and content producer with over ten years of experience creating photo-based, audio, and video content. As an educator, I've developed a gift for providing thoughtful, nurturing communication while offering my students best practices honed from my own practice as a digital craftswoman. I love helping my students learn new tools and skills that will enhance their ability to share their message. As an independent creative, I've learned to leverage social media and share my writing, photography, music, and videos on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
