Sogetsu Ikebana - Japanese Flower Arranging Beginning
THERE IS NO PREREQUISITE TO ATTEND THIS CLASS.

When you practice ikebana, your hands, eyes, and imagina@on become absorbed in the limitless originality of nature. Develop your creative self-expression and explore the beauty of flowers, through this exquisite art form. You will learn techniques to create simple yet dynamic Ikebana designs. Each class includes a demonstration, practice time, and individual assistance. This class provides a foundation in Sogetsu ikebana for beginning students.
Come to the first class ready to make an arrangement:
For the first time student and only in the first class of the series, the instructor will provide your flower and branch materials. After the first class, all students bring their own flower and plant materials, and can apply for access to shop at the San Francisco Flower Market.
Materials Fee $35*
*Covers teaching materials and first-time student materials in first class only.
