American Style Mahjong

Come and learn to play American style mahjong. The game is having a renaissance right now. We will guide you through learning the tiles, to understanding the annual card and all the rules that make it fun and challenging. No experience necessary. If you have played the Chinese version of mahjong you will have a basic understanding of this style. This is a three class series. We will provide sets, tables, the NMJL 2025 card (this card is used until April 2026). You don’t need to provide anything but a fun attitude.
Instructor Bio: Andrew Keeler has been teaching Chinese style and American Style mahjong in the Bay Area for over 10 years. In addition to public drop in games, he has taught private and corporate clients.
