Hospitality at Home: The Art of Table Service for the Holidays
Tuesdays, 10/14-10/21/2025, 6:00-9:00pm
Location: Ocean Campus, Culinary Arts Cafe, located in the CCSF Cafeteria
Instructor: Amanda Mane
Create the perfect dining experience at home for friends and family! In this class, learn the foundational History and Principles of Table Service and how we can apply them to the contemporary trends of hosting a dinner party at home. This 2 session class, once a week, meets for 3 hours (6 hours total). In our first session, we cover the history, tableware, service styles and decorative enhancements you can learn in creating a consistent home dining experience when hosting. In our second sessions, we cover glassware, service techniques when food is ready, and holiday enhancements that will allow you to enhance your comfort in creating the best home dining experience.
Instructor Bio: Amanda Mane has been a Hospitality Professional since childhood. In her lifelong experience she has helped create the scene for Fine Dining and Hotel operations while ensuring every guest has the best experience under her service. Amanda also enjoys setting the scene for friends and family and feels that, with some basic knowledge, anyone can learn to set the experience for a memorable dinner party.
