Thursdays, 3/10/2022-4/14/2022, 5:30pm-8:30pm. 

Instructor: Chef Leila Ovando

Join SF Native Chef Leila in a virtual 5 week introductory course to basic cannabis infusion and make a variety of sweet and savory cannabis edibles from the comfort of your home!

Instructor Bio: Chef Leila is driven to instill a healthy Farm-to-Table lifestyle that can be the norm for the everyday busy single parent. Her culinary journey began at a very young age as her Grandmother’s aid in the kitchen at 30th Street Senior Center. Her grandmother Martha Gomez was the Executive Head Chef. Chef Leila graduated from the California Culinary Academy in 2001 and went on to be a private chef specializing in custom menus. Chef Leila developed the gourmet panini menu at The Epicurean Trader, a market with a mission to bring great handcrafted artisan products at small batch local level. 

Workshops are taught online through Zoom and Canvas. Students will need a computer or smart phone with webcam and microphone, internet and web streaming capacity, and the Zoom application installed to their device.
