Intermediate Meisner Technique Workshop

Ready to deepen your Meisner practice? This one-day intensive builds on the skills developed during the introductory workshop. This follow-up session will reinforce core principles through foundational exercises while taking your work to the next level with scripted scene work and on-camera acting. Come reconnect with your instincts (and former classmates!) this Spring.Pre-requisite: CCSF Extension’s Introduction to the Meisner Technique for Actors and Non-Actors or comparable prior Meisner experience.

Instructor Bio:

Nicolas Jupillat is a San Francisco-based attorney who is passionate about acting and storytelling in the service of justice and personal growth. After performing in college theater productions in France and the Netherlands, he attended the Mulholland Film Academy in Amsterdam where he had the privilege to train in the Meisner technique under the late Jacqueline McClintock. He taught the technique at the Portland Community College in 2023 and is returning to City College of San Francisco Extension this Fall to teach the workshop he first offered here in Spring 2025. Today, he uses the skills he learned as an actor to advocate for victims of harassment and discrimination, and he looks forward to helping students be their authentic selves and find their own voice on stage.
