Location: Evans Campus, Room TBD
Instructor Amy Hibbs
Cyanotype is a flexible, fun, cameraless photo printing medium that can be experienced without an excess of special equipment or a dark room. This one-day workshop teaches all the basics of cyanotype printing, including how to handle the basic chemistry, how to coat paper, and how to create and develop a print. Students will come away with a handful of completed prints on paper and fabric, and information on how to continue the practice. Using the Sun as our UV source, various objects and methods, we’ll make some great and experimental Cyanotype prints! The class fee includes a $50 materials fee per student. Students will be given their own simple frame for making more prints.
