Full course description

Intermediate Drawing and Painting Workshop: Depicting the World Around You

Saturdays, 10/22-11/05/2022, 9:00am-12:00pm

Location: In-person, off Campus

Instructor: Joyce Nojima

Continue the joy of capturing the scenery around you in watercolor. In this 3-session outdoor workshop, we will dive further in our observational studies on site at some of my favorite locations in the North Bay, such as Rodeo Beach at the Marin Headlands. While looking at historical and contemporary artists’ work as inspiration, we will refine our own visual recordings and style. While there are no prerequisites to enroll, completion of a beginning watercolor class or equivalent is highly recommended.
