City Summer Youth Academy is for students ranging from incoming 6th graders through currently enrolled high school students. CSYA is underwritten by a generous grant from the Wells-Fargo Foundation.
French 2
Monday-Friday, 7/25-7/29/2022, 9:00am-11:00am online
Instructor: Kevin Jewell
French 2 will provide students with additional understanding of the French language, and is the follow up to French I. We will continue to study basic vocabulary, grammar, and syntax, with an emphasis on everyday spoken French. The course will continue to explore subjects such as culture and the historical background of the language.
Workshops are taught online through Zoom and Canvas. Students will need a computer or smart phone with webcam and microphone, internet and web streaming capacity, and the Zoom application installed to their device. A device to capture images (digital camera, smart phone, or tablet, etc) is helpful but not required.
