Borderline personality disorder can carry a lot of stigma, making it challenging for providers working with individuals who have the diagnosis. This training will provide an in-depth discussion of what borderline personality disorder is, including symptoms and commonly co-occurring mental health issues. Providers will learn common challenges to supporting someone with borderline personality disorder and how to effectively support someone with the diagnosis. Participants will be able to identify at least one characteristic of individuals with borderline personality disruption Participants will be able to describe the connection between borderline personality disruption and trauma Participants will be able to identify at least one strategy to support a transitional age youth with borderline traits
