Borderline personality disorder can carry a lot of stigma, making it challenging for providers working with individuals who have the diagnosis. This training will provide an in-depth discussion of what borderline personality disorder is, including symptoms and commonly co-occurring mental health issues. Providers will learn common challenges to supporting someone with borderline personality disorder and how to effectively support someone with the diagnosis.  Participants will be able to identify at least one characteristic of individuals with borderline personality disruption  Participants will be able to describe the connection between borderline personality disruption and trauma  Participants will be able to identify at least one strategy to support a transitional age youth with borderline traits
