For mental-health practitioners who supervise work with clients.
Certificates will be provided to participants via email once course evaluation is completed and turned in. This course meets the qualifications for 6 continuing education credits for LCSWs, LPCCs and MFTs.
In these very stressful times due to high client need, staff shortages and local and global violence, staff and supervisors are especially challenged in their daily work lives. In the class, supervisors will learn how to:
• identify and address stress and vicarious traumatization in their staff
• address time management and work prioritizing
• understand and monitor ethical concerns of telehealth
• intervene with supervisees who present challenging behaviors
