Full course description

It’s important for social service providers to understand the diagnoses to effectively work with kids and teens on the autism spectrum. This training will provide an overview of the diagnoses as well as strategies to work with youth on the spectrum from a strengths based and neurodivergent affirming perspective. 

 

Participants will be able to identify at least 1 sign of autism from 12-24 months

Participants will be able to identify at least 1 strategy to support youth with autism 

Participants will be able to describe a neurodivergent affirming perspective
