Although fight, flight, and freeze are more commonly known there is more acknowledgment of the fawn response. This training will provide an overview of these common responses, how they manifest and how to support system-involved youth. One of the ways the fawn trauma response is manifested is in people pleasing. The training will provide an overview of people pleasing and strategies to support system-involved youth develop healthier interactions with others. Participants will be able to identity the four trauma responses. Participants will be able to describe the fawn trauma response. Participants will be able to identify at least one strategy to support individuals who demonstrate people pleasing tendencies
