Some transitional age youth are labeled as having a personality disorder early in life. So, it’s crucial for social service providers to accurately understand personality disorders to discern if the youth actually has one and to support them effectively. This training will provide an overview of borderline, histrionic, and narcissistic personality disorders and strategies to support someone struggling with one. 1. Participants will be able to identify one characteristic of borderline personality disorder 2. Participants will be able to identify one characteristic of narcissistic personality disorder 3. Participants will be able to identify one characteristic of histrionic personality disorder
