Unfortunately, bullying is becoming more common amongst youth so it’s crucial social service and behavioral health providers are equipped with the knowledge and skills to address it with youth and know how to support their parents/caregivers. This training will provide an overview of bullying online, in schools, and in communities. Participants will learn how bullying impacts youth and strategies to support youth who are bullied. Participants will also learn how to address bystanders and risk factors for becoming a bully.

  • Participants will be able to identify one risk factor for youth being bullied
  • Participants will be able to describe at least one way bullying impacts youth
  • Participants will be able to describe at least one strategy to support youth who are bullied
