At times, system-involved youth, young adults and families can be hesitant to receiving mental health and psychiatry services. This training will review common barriers to seeking services. You will learn how to address barriers with individuals to ensure youth and young adults receive the necessary services.

1. Participants will be able to identify at least one common barrier to mental health services

2. Participants will be able to identify at least one common barrier to psychiatry services

3. Participants will be able to identify at least 1 strategy to address barriers with youth, young adults and families
