Friday, February 21, 2025 9AM-4PM Location: Online via Zoom Supporting Youth with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Many system-involved youth struggle with attention deficit and/or hyperactivity. So, it's important for social service providers to understand these issues in order to best support them. This training will provide an overview of attention deficit and hyperactivity traits and how they can present at home and school. The training will also discuss strategies to support system-involved youth with attention deficit and hyperactivity. 1. Participants will be able to identify at least one characteristic of hyperactivity. 2. Participants will be able to identify at least one characteristic of inattention. 3. Participants will be able to identify at least one strategy to better support youth struggling with inattention and hyperactivity.
