Participants will have a general understanding of who mandated reporters are and what their role is in California. This training will provide practical knowledge regarding reporting child abuse and neglect. Participants will learn their responsibility as a mandated reporter. This training will also provide an overview on information needed to complete a child abuse and neglect report to a Child Welfare agency. Participants will be provided with the document(s) required of a mandated reporter when completing a report in California. The material will be delivered by PowerPoint presentation, short video clips, group discussion, breakout (small group) discussions and participant workbook (handout)
